Leadership and team structure
Clear roles. Stronger leaders.
Clarify who does what, help managers lead well, and give your team a structure it can use.
Talk with Dr. MarcusWe’ll talk first. You’ll get a clear scope and fee before deciding.
Does this sound familiar?
For owners and operating leaders who want clearer responsibilities and managers who can lead the work in front of them.
- The same decisions keep coming back to you.
- Two people think they own the same work, or nobody does.
- A capable team member became a manager and needs help leading people.
A focused engagement
Clear responsibilities and manager development
We focus on one team or business unit. Together, we work on the structure it needs, the decisions people own, and the leadership habits that help them follow through.
Understand the team
I talk with you and the agreed team leaders, review roles and the current organization chart, and look at where the work gets stuck.
Build a clearer structure
We work through responsibilities, decision authority, handoffs, and the meetings the team actually needs.
Help managers put it into practice
I work with managers on real conversations, expectations, accountability, and the judgment that leadership requires. We review what is being used and what needs to change.
What you leave with
- An organization chart that reflects how the team should work
- Clear role responsibilities and decision ownership
- A practical meeting and accountability rhythm
- A manager development plan and a 90-day team action plan
How we review progress
We review whether people understand their responsibilities, decisions reach the right person, and managers use the agreed routines. The starting point and review dates are part of the scope.
Your part in the work
You approve the structure, involve the people affected, and own daily execution. I help your team work through the changes and develop the leadership needed to use them.
A clear scope before we start
Recruiting, HR investigations, employment-law advice, and a full company restructure are separate work. The initial engagement covers one agreed team and set of priorities.
After we talk, I’ll send a written scope, fee, and timeline. Session count, support, and any onsite work are agreed in advance.
Why work with me?
I bring more than 20 years of experience leading teams and running businesses, along with doctoral study focused on leadership. My work connects team structure with the people who must make it work.
Leadership includes who we become, how we treat people, and the work we do. That matters in how I work with you.
A few useful questions
Will this be another chart nobody uses?
The chart is one part of the work. We build responsibilities with the people involved, use them in real decisions, and review whether they are helping.
Can we keep working together?
Yes, if ongoing owner advisory or manager development fits what you need. We agree on the priorities, access, and fee separately.
